“Empowering Marginalised Communities Through Sustainable Livelihood”

SSIF (Samman Social Impact Foundation) focuses on empowering marginalised communities — landless and small farmers, labourers, SCs, STs, women, widows, and unemployed youth — through targeted intervention programs.
The foundation highlights critical issues faced by farmers in Maharashtra’s backward regions, Marathwada and Vidarbha, where farmer suicides are alarmingly rising. Low productivity, rainfall scarcity, disaster vulnerability, and migration are key challenges here.
SSIF aims to raise awareness about sustainable livelihoods and income generation for low-income groups. Recently, it launched “Project Unnati ” to address rural communities’ problems and build their capacity to overcome socio-economic hardships.
